SGwoman100 celebrated its 2022 Inauguration with the launch of our first on-site event on 5th March 2022, coinciding with the celebration of International Women's Day.

The event's theme centered around how women can strive to be their best selves, excelling both in the workplace and at home. We were honored to have our Guest of Honor, Ms. Tin Pei Ling, share her insights on overcoming challenges as a woman, a working mother, and a Member of Parliament, highlighting her transitions through various life stages.

Additionally, our panel session titled "The Dream Maker" featured esteemed panelists Ms. Xixi, Ms. Ling Khai, and Ms. Shirly. They discussed their journeys in fulfilling their dreams, sharing valuable insights on overcoming challenges along the way.

Through these meaningful dialogue sessions, we aspire to spread positivity not only to all participants but also to the wider Singaporean community. 

SGwoman100 is celebrating International Women's Day with our theme #BeYour100,and  #BreakTheBias.

What is #BeYour100? 

To us, it means living your life to the fullest, giving your 100% in everything you do. We believe that everyone's 100% is different, and as long as we give our best effort, it is cause for celebration. Let's celebrate ourselves and our ability to be our best selves, on our terms and by our standards.

We are honored to have Ms. Hany Soh, Member of Parliament for Marsiling-Yew Tee, Woodgrove Division, as our Guest of Honor. She shared her experiences on overcoming challenges as a woman, a working mother, and an MP, highlighting her transitions through different stages of life.

What is #BreakTheBias? 

To us, it means breaking the barriers that limit women's achievements and opportunities. It's not just about women celebrating women; it's about unity and support from everyone. We invite proud fathers, supportive husbands, and doting sons, among others, to join us in celebrating women and their accomplishments.

We are also honored to have Dr. Ng, Founder-CEO of Q&M Dental Group, as one of our panelists, who shared his perspective on celebrating the women in his life.

These events aim to spread positivity and empower women, showcasing the strength and resilience of women from all walks of life.

We are very thankful for the funding provided by the Temasek Foundation for this session. With their support, we hope to benefit more people in our dialogue session.  This special session in October 2023 is different; we want to hear from you.

Our goal is to foster empathy, understanding, and a sense of common humanity among people from diverse backgrounds. We can inspire, uplift, and empower others, reminding them of the power of resilience, compassion, and the human spirit throughout your real stories. 

With a shared commitment to give back to the community that has been an integral part of our journey, this event embodies the core values of our community. We truly believe that giving back strengthens our community's foundation and enhances our collective well-being.
